Seisho Itokazu Sensei

Seisho Itokazu Sensei is the Chief Instructor of the legendary Kodokan Dojo in Okinawa. The Kodokan Dojo was founded by Shinpo Matayoshi Sensei and until today represents worldwide the only true head for Matayoshi Kobudo because it is directed by the Matayoshi Family itself to assure the preservation of the legacy of Matayoshi Kobudo. Itokazu Sensei holds the rank of Hachi Dan (8th Dan) in Matayoshi Kobudo and Kyu Dan (9th Dan) in Kounan Ryu Karate (Uechi Ryu).

As part of his commitment to spread the art of Matayoshi Kobudo Itokazu Sensei has been at the USA four times sponsored by the Matayoshi Kobudo Kodokan USA. He visited the USA invited by Sanguinetti Sensei previously in 1998, 2000, 2004, and 2008.
